As highlighted in Australia’s National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF): Belonging, Being and Becoming, ongoing professional learning and reflective practice are essential elements of an educator’s work. To continue to refresh and grow professional knowledge and practice, it is important for educators to take the time to think deeply about their daily work, ask themselves why they do what they do, challenge their assumptions and continue to draw on a range of theoretical perspectives to inform their work.
